Dangers Of Cosmetic Surgery
It is very easy to see what impact has the cosmetic surgery on us only if you turn on the TV, browse any magazine or newspaper or search a little bit on the internet. You can find on many channels or in mass media all you want to know about some of the most common and recent cosmetic surgery procedures. Many specialists are worried about how cosmetic surgeries may influence the public. Another concern is that many dangers are presented very succinct and the people don't realize the complications.

Every year more and more women and men are undergoing for cosmetic surgeries. For example this year compared to last year the cosmetic surgery number increase with 16 percent. Among men knew an increase of 31 percent (almost 1.1 million procedures). Liposuction was number one in cosmetic surgeries among both men and women followed by breast augmentation among women of course.

Beside the wide number of surgeries performed, the experts are concerned with the high number of procedures on women 18 years and younger. Last year was a less number of surgeries on the 18 and younger compared with this one (exactly 48 percent).
Breast augmentation is number one concern in cosmetic surgery on women 18 years and younger group. At this age everybody wants to live their life at maximum and to experience many things. That is why they don't think about the consequences of their acts. It is very important before you undergo for any kind of cosmetic surgery to understand the benefits but the dangers as well.

The American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS) showed us that this year, breast implants, was a three-fold increase from last year on women 18 years and younger. This is considered an important risk because at this age your body is still growing and any weight can change your breast size. It is better for you if you undergo for a cosmetic surgery only after you are full matured to take your own decisions.

Experts are concerned as well by the increasing number of the young people in cosmetic surgery. Due to TV, internet and mass media teenagers are viewing their body like a thing that must be perfect. Cosmetic surgeries have showed us many patients with very good results, but these procedures are not recommended for teenagers. You should open your eyes and to not let yourself influenced by ads.
All the people that are decided to go for a cosmetic surgery should think very well before if the procedure is going to solve their problems and not cause them more after. Write on a sheet of paper all the benefits and the dangers and if you think that is worth it only then go for a visit to a surgeon.
The risks of cosmetic surgery differ from one to another procedure. Some major complications are: scarring, bleeding, infections, nerve damage, asymmetry, allergic reaction to sedation, discoloration of the skin.

If you want to go for a cosmetic surgery but you aren't decided yet, you should take some safety measures. Do all the searches you need, check the surgeon experience and qualifications, ask about portfolio, and understand the side effect and the most important in my opinion, decide if the surgery is really what you want.
If you undergo for any surgery you have to be very realistic about your expectations because in many cases the patients don't achieve the wanted result.
